CONVEYOR HEAD
Cutting Head with Conveyor Belt

Energreen CONVEYOR HEAD is a cutting head whose frame is built in Domex steel. It rises from the experience of the project New Speed, well-established on the experience acquired over the years and differs from a traditional classic cutting head in the larger dimension of the output channel of residual cut material, creating the opportunity to install a conveyor belt – hydraulically operated – to avoid that residual vegetation falls immediately behind the cutting head. It is suitable for picking up and directing cut material out of the work zone. It is recommended, in particular, for the maintenance of river areas (canals and embankments, etc.) because it is possible to cut the vegetation and throw cut materials off (through the conveyor belt) at the same time, just up to 6,56 ft away from the point of cutting. CONVEYOR HEAD is particularly appropriated in those areas where cut grass does not have to fall into rivers and ditches’ water, permitting a better maintenance of water pumps or other related watercourses’ plants. The hydraulically operated conveyor belt can rotate in both senses, allowing working continuously on both sides of the ditch and the possibility to decide where to direct cut material.
